World Down Syndrome Day!

3/21 marked World Down Syndrome Day! 3/21 is chosen to celebrate this day around the world due to there being 3 copies (instead of 2) of the 21st chromosome in individuals with Down syndrome. If you’re lucky enough to know someone with Down syndrome, you know that this is a day to be celebrated! We celebrated our day by sporting our Down syndrome shirts, and sharing donuts at school.
