Evaluations

An evaluation is conducted in order to determine your child’s needs and to develop goals in any of the following areas:

  • speech sound disorders: articulation, phonology, childhood apraxia of speech (production of speech sounds)

  • receptive language (understanding language)

  • expressive language (using language through spoken words, signs, as well as augmentative and alternative communication [AAC])

  • pragmatic language (social communication)

  • feeding

Individual Sessions

  • Individual sessions with your child will target unique therapy goals.

  • Home-exercise activities are provided to families to encourage continued practice and learning at home.

  • Therapists can partner with your child’s educator(s) in order to help develop skills across settings.
